When Mrs Cant put in an offer on a retirement apartment, she felt she had found her ‘forever home’. She set about putting her existing property on the market so that she could move forward with the purchase, but after the sale of her existing property fell through on three separate occasions due to the buyers’ personal circumstances, Mrs Cant feared that her move may never go ahead and her family began to worry about her.
