Quickmove complete Walk to Remember in aid of Alzheimer’s Support

This weekend just gone, (Saturday 3rd June), a team from park home selling specialists, Quickmove Properties, took on the Walk to Remember, a gruelling 13 mile trek from Gloucestershire to Wiltshire in aid of the charity Alzheimer’s Support.

Just last month (7th May), three members of the Quickmove Properties team took to the skies over the Wiltshire countryside to complete a death defying skydive that saw them raise a total of £3,823 in aid of Alzheimer’s Support.

Last weekend’s task, the Quickmove Walk to Remember, was more a test of endurance than nerve.

The team took on the 13 mile trek along the Thames Path that saw them start in Lechlade in Gloucestershire, with the finish line in the Wiltshire town of Cricklade.

To date, the team of 19 fundraisers have raised £961 and would welcome any donations via Quickmove Walk to Remember Half Marathon Trek | Alzheimer’s Support (alzheimerswiltshire.org.uk)

Community Fundraising Manager at Alzheimer’s Support, Rachel Fear, commented:

“Alzheimer’s Support is a charity that is very close to our heart as a company and we’re incredibly proud of the Quickmove team for the effort and dedication they have shown in tackling the fundraising tasks presented to them.

Our skydive was an incredible success, raising almost £4,000. However, this time around, the team did request something that would keep their feet firmly on solid ground. A request they may well be regretting this week after walking 13 miles.”
